The last forty years has seen a tremendous increase in the percentage of Muslims in Western Europe. Consider the following examples:

• In France there are more Muslims than Roman Catholics, and nine times more Muslims than Evangelical Christians.
• In Brussels, Belgium the most popular name used for boys is Muhammad.
• In the UK, the number of mosques and training centres has grown from under 12 to over 2000 mosques and training centres in 40 years.

These major shifts are challenges to the Church and are often bewildering to believers who are working and living in this new cultural setting without the adequate knowledge and skills to respond effectively.

The Antioch Project is a Birmingham based Resource, Research & Training Centre dedicated to equipping Christians in the UK to effectively relate to Muslims with the teachings of Jesus Christ.  We have a gifted multicultural team of qualified servants from India, Pakistan, UK, Canada, as well as guest specialists doing the training.
